Wisdom of God’s People (Proverbs 1; 3-4)
In Proverbs, Solomon teaches that the foundation of true wisdom is the fear of the Lord—honoring and revering Him as holy and the source of all understanding. Wisdom isn’t just about knowledge, but about trusting God, obeying His commands, and following His ways. Solomon emphasized that relying on God’s wisdom leads to a life that honors Him, while earthly wisdom leads to folly. Ultimately, Jesus embodies wisdom, offering salvation and the wisdom to live rightly. Lead children to understand that godly wisdom is found in Jesus, and by trusting in Him, they receive eternal life and guidance for every day. Pray they would seek wisdom from God above all else.
