Unit 3, Session 3
Joseph Taken to Egypt (Genesis 37; 39-46; 50)
Hey Volunteer Team! This week we will be diving into the story of Joseph, a powerful example of God’s sovereignty, faithfulness, and grace through trials. Despite being betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned, Joseph remained faithful to God, and God was with him through it all. God raised Joseph to a place of great authority, using him to save many lives during a famine—including his own family. Joseph’s forgiveness of his brothers reflects God’s redemptive plan in Christ, who suffered on our behalf to bring us eternal life. Let’s pray that the kids will see God’s goodness and trust in Jesus, our ultimate Redeemer!
