Saul Rescued Israel (1 Samuel 11-13)
Hey parents! This week we discussed 1 Samuel 11–13, where Saul starts strong but his disobedience reveals he wasn’t the true King Israel needed. His pride and failure to obey God point us to Jesus, the perfect King who always obeyed and changed hearts. While Saul’s reign showed the limits of earthly kings, Jesus fulfills the role of the perfect King, leading us to desire God’s will above all. Let’s teach our kids that only Jesus can transform our hearts, making Him the King we were made to worship.
