Samuel Anointed David (1 Samuel 16)
Hey parents! This week we’re discussed 1 Samuel 16, where God chooses David, not for his appearance or strength, but because of his heart that honored the Lord. Unlike Saul, who relied on outward traits, David’s faithfulness and trust in God set him apart.
David points us to Jesus, the perfect King, who lived, died, and rose for our salvation. Let’s help kids see that God values our hearts, and that by faith in Jesus, God can use anyone, no matter how ordinary, for His purposes. Pray for their hearts to be open to God’s work in their lives!
