Solomon Became King (1 Kings 2-3)
Hey parents! This week, we looked at Solomon’s request for wisdom in 1 Kings 3. Solomon humbly asked God for wisdom to lead His people, and God blessed him abundantly. While Solomon’s wisdom was great, Jesus is the true embodiment of godly wisdom, as 1 Corinthians 1:30 tells us. Jesus, as God’s wisdom, offers us salvation and guides us in walking in God’s ways. Let’s help kids understand that true wisdom comes from knowing Jesus and walking in His ways, and pray that they see their need for His wisdom and salvation.
