Sermon Recap
Pastor Justin Kendrick shared from Deuteronomy 1 the importance of recognizing God's constant presence and love throughout our journeys. He illustrated how unhealthy fears can stem from feelings of comparison, apathy, and irrational imaginations, ultimately leading to an "orphan spirit" that makes us believe God is against us. By reflecting on our personal stories and understanding the power that saves us through Christ, we can find healing and deliverance from these fears. Pastor Justin encouraged us to remain in God's arms, fostering a deeper, trustful relationship that allows us to live confidently in His love and grace.
Ice Breaker Option
If you could have any fictional character as your roommate, who would it be and why?

Going Deeper:
Pastor Justin encouraged us to deepen our faith by getting the truth of our union with Christ deep in us. Use a Bible search engine to find all the times in the New Testament where the words in Christ, with Christ, through Christ, in Him, and with Him appear. Take time to read and meditate on these passages. You might start your journey with John 15:1-8 and Ephesians 1:3-13.
• What do you learn? Summarize what union with Christ means.
• In what way have you been living outside of the unity God invites you into through Christ?
• What is one action you need to take in response?
