Text: Luke 15:16
1. What was your favorite part of the sermon?
2. If someone asked you what the sermon was about, how would you summarize it in one sentence?
3. Talk about either the way you have used silence and solitude in your prayer life, or ways in which you want to begin practicing it.
4. In silence, what truth or direction has God revealed to you in the past?
A prayer exercise to do as a group: select a person in your group and then take a few minutes of silence to listen for God to speak a word to you about that person. (It could be an encouragement, a direction, a reflection, etc) If this is new for people in your group, let them know it’s ok if they don’t hear anything or have anything to share. After a few minutes, share what the Lord said to each of you. Close in prayer thanking Jesus for His example and thanking God for listening and responding to our prayers.
