Become a Community Group Leader

Are you passionate about helping others grow in their faith and experience authentic biblical community?

The Community Group Leader Experience is Vox's self-paced, on-demand training for future Community Group Leaders. It is part of the Onboard stage of how Vox identifies, develops, and supports leaders.

Through an introduction and six modules, you'll examine your own walk with Jesus while learning Vox's biblical convictions about Community Groups. The experience covers personal discipleship, serving from compassion, growing in Christ, belonging to the church, embodying group life, and being sent.

Each module includes readings, short videos, assessments, and reflection questions. The content builds from one module to the next, but you can complete it on your own schedule.

By the end of the experience, you will have:

  • Reflected honestly on your spiritual habits, gifts, character, and posture toward serving.
  • Developed a clear understanding of what a Vox Community Group is—and isn't.
  • Learned the four marks and foundational rhythms of Community Group life.
  • Become familiar with the weekly gathering framework and seasonal calendar.
  • Gained clarity about your next steps toward becoming an official Community Group Leader.

Completing the course begins your connection with your local campus leadership. Your remaining steps may include signing the Ministry Leader Expectations, completing a background check, attending Essentials if needed, and meeting with your Discipleship Director or Campus Leadership Team.

If you're ready to grow, serve, and help build authentic biblical community, register today and begin the experience at your own pace.
